Potato Days 2009

Another Potato Days come and gone. We had about half our usual crowd this year, which with the new deck and bathroom, made the whole house seem much less hectic. Erin's cousin Danielle, who just moved back from Oregon, came for the first time this year, which that was a nice treat for everyone.

Sarah had dance camp this year at the same time as the kiddie parade, so the girls didn't get to go through the kiddie parade, but Grace was just big enough to go through the inflatable toys, so she still got to do something special. Sarah got to dance in front of the main stage Friday and this was the last year she could the Miss Tator Tot Pageant. Grandma Marilyn made her a very nice potato fairy dress for the event.

The big parade seemed a little slight this year, but the girls and cousin Brody still took in a decent haul of candy. Sarah got to ride the Tator Tot float, and I think she enjoyed having all eyes on her for most of the weekend.

We had a great time this year and really appreciate everyone who showed up. Anyone passing through town next year is welcome to drop by!
