As part of Sarah's first grade wrap up activities, she had a track & field day that we were able to attend. She started off with the bean bag balance race, then moved onto the quarter mile, long jumping, jump rope, tug of war, potato sack race, 100m dash, tennis ball under the chin relay and finally, hulu hoop ring toss. She suffered a few scratches when things got a little rambunctious during the parents v kids tug of war, and due to the heat of the day, she lost a little enthusiasm on the last few events, but thanks to some encouragement from us and her classmates, she finished well. Frankly, she probably did better than Erin and I would have. We enjoyed watching as much as she enjoyed playing.
