Sarah participated in the Miss Tater Tot pageant at Potato Days 2008. Grandma Marilyn made her a very princess-like potato sack dress to model, and she wore her flower girl dress from my cousin Katie's wedding for the formal portion. Nikki, one of the girl's daycare providers did Sarah's hair in a very nice up-do. She was very lovely.
All the girls modeled their potato sack dresses, then came back in their formal wear to answer a question. Most girls got their question, answered and then walked off stage. Sarah got a follow up question.
Like I said in the title, some things are better than winning. Sarah didn't get the crown, but we all got something to appreciate much longer. Enjoy.
