Memorial Day Weekend

Hello everyone,

I hope you had a great Memorial Day weekend. We had a good one here. Our original plans were to head to Kansas to see our friends, but with gas prices so high we had to scrap them. So we kept up the tradition of seeing my brother on Memorial Day weekend and headed up to Lakota. Memorial Day weekend use to be my brother's annual trip down to Kansas. He did ditch me one year to go to the NASCAR races in North Carolina, but brought be back some wonderful chachskies. :-)

We spent Saturday in Lakota at the farm, and then headed up to Brocket to my Uncle Tom's place for a Pre-Memorial Day BBQ. My grandparents and cousin Emilie were there too. That night we went to Devils Lake to see my mom and on Sunday went to a graduation party and home.

Monday was a nice relaxing day at home before the crazy week kicked in. Josh is working over time now. He helps me get the girls ready in the morning and takes them to daycare with me. He's been getting home between 7:30 & 8:30 most nights, just in time to tug the girls in.
